Petitioner has prayed for following reliefs:- (i) For quashing the order contained in letter no.334 dt. 18.8.2020 issued by the State Govt. respondent no.3 whereby and whereunder the "Pitripaksh Mela" to be held in every year in Gaya w.e.f. 2.9.2020 has been stopped.
(ii) For giving a direction not to stop to do the "Pinddan" of persons who came to Gaya for performing rituals of
Patna High Court CWJC No.7614 of 2020 dt.14-09-2020 2/3 "Pinddan" coming by their private vehicles.
(iii) For giving a direction to the State Govt. and District administration to make arrangement of all facilities and allow to do the "Pinddan" on all different places of Gaya fixed for doing "Pinddan"
(iv) For giving a direction to allow the pilgrimages who came voluntarily to stay in any hotel and Dharmshala as per their choice.
(v) For giving direction to allow the "Pitripaksh Mela" in the light of the guideline issued by Hon'ble Apex Court in the matter of Baijnath Dham Temple Deoghar Jharkhand and Jain Temple Mumbai (vi) For giving direction to stop online "Pinddan" as the same is against the Hindu religion.
(vii) For giving a direction to reopen the "Vishnupad Temple" for devotees in light of the order passed by Hon'ble Apex Court in case of Baidyanath Dham Temple and Jain Temple Mumbai.
(viii) Any other relief/reliefs which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case."
After some argument, counsel for the petitioner is permitted to withdraw this writ petition with liberty to file a detailed representation before the District Magistrate, Gaya with respect to issues raised in this writ petition and the District Magistrate, Gaya shall take necessary steps to resolve and settle the issues as raised by petitioner including performance of Puja in Vishnupad Temple in terms of direction issued by the Apex Court in case of Baijnath Dham Temple, Deoghar, Jharkhand and Jain Temple Mumbai.
However, if any grievance of the petitioner still survives, liberty reserve to him to take recourse to such
