JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 27-08-2025 Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, learned APP appearing on behalf of the State and learned counsel appearing on behalf of the informant.
2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 307, 325, 427, 447, 354 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per prosecution case, it is alleged that this petitioner assaulted on the head of informant with iron rod.
4. It is submitted by learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner is quite innocent and has committed no offence. There is case and counter-case between the parties.

On the other hand, learned A.P.P. for the State and learned counsel appearing for the informant have vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner and submitted that petitioner is named in the F.I.R. with specific accusation that he assaulted on the head of informant with iron rod. Doctor has found the injuries, sustained by the injured, grievous in nature. Petitioner has got four criminal antecedents.
6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, specific and direct nature of accusation, nature of injuries sustained by the injured and criminal antecedents of the petitioner, the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner is rejected.
