In this case, the petitioners are seeking promotion on the post/scale of Graduate Trained Teacher on the strength of Sahitya Alankar degree issued by the Deoghar Vidyapith.

Patna High Court CWJC No.10023 of 2013 dt.21-07-2016 2/2 This Court the case of State of Bihar and Ors. vs. Mamta Kumari, d/o Yogendra Singh, reported in 2010(4) PLJR, 318 held that the degree of Sahitya Alankar is not equivalent to Graduate.

In such view of the matter, the relief claimed by the present petitioners cannot be granted. Accordingly, this writ application is dismissed.
