The petitioner apprehends her arrest in Patahi P.S. Case No. 59 of 2016 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and under Sections 47, 51 and 52 of the Excise Amendment Act, 2016. The informant, police officer, got information that the petitioner wife of Prem Manjhi was manufacturing and selling country made liquor and on such information the house of the petitioner was raided and 15 liters of country made liquor was recovered.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a lady, but from the facts it appears that the petitioner is found to be indulged in preparing and selling country made

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.41453 of 2016 (4) dt.23-03-2017 2/2 liquor.

Considering the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner above named on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
