1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

2. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 302 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code read with Section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that by order dated 02.05.2025, a report was called from the Court of learned District & Additional Sessions Judge-XVI, Gopalganj with regard to the stage of the trial in connection with Sessions Trial No. 115 of 2021 arising out of Jadopur P.S. Case No. 124 of 2020.

4. In compliance of the order dated 02.05.2025, the report has been received contained in Letter No. 111 dated 05.05.2025.

5. The learned District & Additional Sessions JudgeXVI, Gopalganj in his report has recorded that he is working as successor of the earlier Court since 18.03.2025. The argument is going on in the case. The prosecution evidence was closed on 08.05.2024, as such, two months further time has been prayed for concluding the trial.

6. After perusing the report of the learned District & Additional Sessions Judge-XVI, Gopalganj, the Court is not inclined to release the petitioner on bail, since petitioner is alleged to be the main assailant also.

7. The bail application is rejected.
