The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Barachatti P.S.Case No. 80 of 2018 registered under Sections 363, 365, 394 & 411 of the Indian Penal Code. Considering the gravity of the offence and the allegation that the petitioner and others abducted the son of the informant and one another and confined them in a room along with their vehicle and demanded Rs. 5 lacs in lieu of releasing them, I am not inclined to grant them pre-arrest bail.
