The instant writ application has been filed seeking a direction upon the respondent authorities, particularly respondent no. 4, to make payment of salary to the petitioners, who are working as Assistant Teachers in Saraswati Bilash Sanskrit High School, Shokhara, Begusarai (hereinafter referred to as "the School"). It is further prayed that the representation

Patna High Court CWJC No.7010 of 2026(2) dt.11-05-2026 2/3 already filed by the petitioners before respondent no. 4 be directed to be disposed of expeditiously, which is still pending consideration.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that, through a regular recruitment process, the petitioners were appointed as Assistant Teachers in the School and, pursuant to such appointment, they have been continuously discharging their duties since 20.04.2010. It is further submitted that the services of the petitioners have also been approved by the Bihar Sanskrit Shiksha Board, Patna vide Memo No. 737 dated 19.02.2024, but for unexplained reasons, salary from the date of their initial appointment has not been paid.

At this stage, learned counsel for the respondents submits that since approval has already been granted by the Board, appropriate directions may be issued to verify the entitlement of the petitioners with reference to the official records and, if it is found that their services have been duly approved in accordance with law, their claim for payment of salary from the date of initial appointment may be considered and decided.

5. Considering the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, and in view of the fact that approval with regard to

Patna High Court CWJC No.7010 of 2026(2) dt.11-05-2026 3/3 the services of the petitioners has already been granted vide Memo No. 737 dated 19.02.2024, it is expected that the representation pending before the District Education Officer, Begusarai, for payment of salary shall be considered and adjudicated in accordance with law. Such exercise shall be undertaken after due verification of the official records pertaining to the petitioners' job profiles and shall be concluded within a period of eight weeks from the date of filing of a fresh representation by the petitioners in continuation of the earlier representation, along with a copy of the present order, which shall be filed within two weeks from today.

6. With the aforesaid observations and directions, the instant writ application stands disposed of.
