JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 03-10-2023 The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the petitioner has filed an application for issuance of arms license in the year, 2021, however, the District Magistrate, Rohtas at Sasaram, has not disposed off the same till date. 2.

The learned counsel for the Respondent-State submits that in case, the petitioner has filed an application for grant of arms license and the same is still pending, it shall be disposed off, within a fixed time frame.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to direct the District Arms

Patna High Court CWJC No.7276 of 2023(2) dt.03-10-2023 2/2 Magistrate / District Magistrate, Rohtas at Sasaram, to consider the application, filed by the petitioner, for grant of arms license, in case the same has actually been filed and is still pending and pass a reasoned and a speaking order, within a period of four weeks of receipt / production of a copy of this order. 4.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
