Petitioner seeks bail in connection Sonepur P.S. Case no. 899 of 2019 registered for the offence punishable under section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody since 9.2.2021 and charge sheet has been submitted and allegation is of snatching motorcycle of the informant on the point of gun as detailed in the FIR by unknown miscreants. Learned counsel submits that FIR was against unknown and during course of investigation, his name came in the confessional statement of co-accused Banti @ Papiya @ Amarjeet. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that nothing was recovered from the possession of the petitioner nor

Learned APP opposes the prayer for bail.

Considering the facts that petitioner is in jail custody, charge sheet has been submitted and the petitioner has not been put on TI parade till date, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs 25,000/- (twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Saran at Chapra in Sonepur P.S. Case no. 899 of 2019.
