The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Revilaganj P.S. Case No. 298 of 2019 for the offence under Sections 498A, 363, 364, 304(B), 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of the D.P. Act.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner, who is of clean antecedent, is innocent and has not committed any offence. In fact, the petitioner happens to be father-in-law of the deceased and no specific allegation is attributed him. The petitioner, who is of 75 years of his age, is rotting in judicial custody since 20.01.2020.
