This is a petition for grant of anticipatory bail for offence under Sections 498A of the Indian Penal Code and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
It has been informed by the learned counsel for the parties that during mediation the parties have settled their dispute and by way of one time settlement rupees eleven thousand has been paid through bank's demand draft no. 086072, dated 18.03.2017, to opposite party no. 2.
In the circumstances, the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender, within four weeks from the date of receipt of this order, be released on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.47886 of 2016 (6) dt.06-04-2017 2/2 connection with Complaint Case No. 286 of 2015 to the satisfaction of the Subdivisional Judicial Magistrate, Saharsa, or successor Court, subject to the condition laid down under Section 438(2) of the Criminal Procedure Code.
