====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR JHA ORAL ORDER 28-09-2020 Heard Mr. N.K. Agrawal, learned senior counsel for the petitioners and learned A.P.P. through Video Conferencing. By order dated 23.09.2020 a report was called for from the Registrar (List) as to how on one bail petition having been filed, two criminal cases being Cr.Misc.No.24996 of 2020 and Cr.Misc.No.25168 of 2020 have been numbered. The Registrar (List) reported that due to heavy work pressure in the section, two token numbers were generated in the case, as there is no any check in the system of NIC to prevent the generation of more than one token of a case.

It appears that it is a very serious matter as after filing of one bail petition, two token numbers were generated. It is a

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.25168 of 2020(3) dt.28-09-2020 2/2 system failure of the Stamp Reporter. There must be some check so that two token numbers on one bail petition must not be generated. The Registrar (List) is directed to look into the matter and make all efforts so that such practice must be stopped. Mr. N.K. Agrawal, learned senior counsel for the petitioners, seeks permission to withdraw this bail petition (Cr.Misc.No.25168 of 2020) as his earlier bail petition being Cr.Misc.No.24996 of 2020 is listed before another Bench. Prayer is allowed.

The bail petition (Cr.Misc.No.25168 of 2020) is dismissed as withdrawn.
