Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Submission is that from back side of the house of the petitioner, liquor was allegedly recovered. Petitioner had no knowledge about the recovered liquor. Petitioner has got no such criminal antecedent.

Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.26521 of 2019(2) dt.23-04-2019 2/2 where the case is pending in connection with Bahadurpur Police Station Case No.74 of 2019, giving rise to G.O.Case No.170 of 2019, subject to the condition that both bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below and further the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
