Petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Parwalpur P.S. Case No. 85 of 2016 registered under Sections341, 323, 307, 379, 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present case has been filed in retaliation of the case lodged by the wife of the petitioner against the present informant vide Parwalpur P.S. Case No. 187 of 2014. There are general and omnibus allegations. Injury report also shows that the injury is simple in nature.

Learned Addl. P.P. appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that petitioner is named accused

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.45850 of 2016 (4) dt.08-02-2017 2/2 and he attempted to strangulate the informant by means of Janeu.

Considering the nature of allegations levelled against the petitioner and the submissions advanced on behalf of the State, I do not feel inclined to grant the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. His prayer for anticipatory bail is, therefore, rejected.
