2. The petitioner is apprehending arrest in connection with Rampur P.S. Case No. 548 of 2024, dated 18.10.2024, lodged under Section 318(4), 338, 336(3), 340(2) and 3(5) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (hereinafter referred to as "BNS, 2023"), pending before the Court of C.J.M., Gaya.
3. As per the prosecution, FIR has been lodged against two named accused persons, including the present petitioner, alleging that four different types of illegal rubber stamps bearing the names of Government Officials such as the D.C.L.R., S.D.O., Sadar Gaya, C.O. Bodhgaya, and C.O. Paraiya, along with a premier company stamp pad and documents related to land settlement (two Parwana forms, one filled and one blank),

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. It is further submitted that the petitioner was not apprehended from the place of occurrence, and his name has figured in the present case solely on the basis of the confessional statement of the coaccused, Amar Manjhi. Counsel also submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedents and is willing to comply with any condition that may be imposed upon him by this Hon'ble Court.
5. Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner and submits that the apprehended person has named the petitioner as his associate, alleging that the petitioner used to prepare forged land-related documents and is actively involved in the present case.
6. In the present facts and circumstances, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is hereby anticipatory.
7. It is directed to the petitioner to surrender before the Trial Court within a period of 6 weeks from today. In case, the petitioner surrenders within six weeks, then the Trial Court is directed to pass order on his surrender-cum-bail application
