1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1) That this is an application for issuance of the appropriate (s)/order writ (s)/ Director (s) Commanding the respondents to set aside the merit list vide annexure-2 to this writ application on the ground that there is glaring irregularities on record if the annexure-1, advertisement notice and Annexure-2, the merit list are comparatively perused for the ends of justice. There were 34 posts were vacant for the OBC candidates but
Patna High Court CWJC No.12220 of 2021(2) dt.07-12-2023 2/2 only 21 candidates were appointed giving complete go bye of the Principles of natural justice. Secondly there is no vacancy for the Exservicemen but-11 Ex servicemen were appointed ignoring the advertisement norms and 13 Posts of OBC candidates were reduced which show the arbitrariness, nepotism and corruption at peak in the recruitment policy and be further pleased to direct the respondents to cancel the selection merit list containing in Annexure-2 to this writ application on the ground that the R.T.I reply disclosed the internal recipe as to reduce the posts for the OBC candidates out of 34 posts ignoring the norms of appointment advertisement in this matter on the posts of the skilled work assistant in the ministry of water resources development of the Government of India."
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the respondent-authorities for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.
3. The present writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
