NILU AGRAWAL ORAL ORDER 29-04-2019 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel for the State and learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State Bank of India, Main Branch, Buxar (hereinafter referred to as the 'Bank').

Petitioner seeks revision of his pension on the basis of 6th Pay Revision and calculation and payment of arrears in pursuance thereto. Petitioner submits that although he retired from the service on 01.06.1983 but in the pension slip of March, 2017 issued by the State Bank of India his date of retirement has

He submits that revision of pension as per the 6th Pay Revision treating the date of retirement as 01.06.1983 has not been taken into consideration by the Bank while granting pension. Considering the nature of claim made by the petitioner, petitioner is directed to file a detailed representation before the respondent no. 5, the District Treasury Officer, Buxar, District-Buxar and respondent no. 6, the State Bank of India, through the Chief Manager, Buxar Main Branch, Buxar which would be disposed of within a period of three months from the date of filing of such representation. Any revision as per the 6th Pay Revision and correction of the date of retirement by the said respondents would be done along with the disposal of the representation within the said period. All admissible payments would be paid to the petitioner within one month thereafter. Writ application is disposed of accordingly.
