The appeal preferred by the petitioner against the cancellation of his licence has been dismissed for nonprosecution. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the aforesaid appeal was taken up for consideration during the days when Covid Pandemic was at its worst. Precisely, for this reason, the petitioner could not pursue the appeal.

Patna High Court CWJC No.8370 of 2022(2) dt.10-08-2022 2/2 Accepting the aforesaid contention of the petitioner, we set aside the appellate order. The matter is remitted to the appellate authority for writing out a fresh order in accordance with law, giving reasons in support of the same, within the 60 days from the date receipt/production of a copy of this order.
