The petitioners apprehend their arrest in Mehasi P.S. case No. 90 of 2016 under Section 304B, 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 3⁄4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. The informant alleged that his sister was married to Upendra Rai on 30.05.2015 but after marriage her husband and other in-laws were demanding money, ornaments and motor cycle. The informant came to know that his sister was killed on 21.06.2016 and her dead body was hurriedly cremated. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners are father-in-law, mother-in-law and brother of father-
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.39812 of 2016 (2) dt.19-09-2016 2/2 in-law of the deceased. The petitioners were living separately from the deceased and her husband. No specific allegation is made against the petitioners.
Considering the nature of allegations made against the petitioners and the fact that petitioners are father-in-law, mother-in-law and brother of father-in-law of the deceased, the above named petitioners, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, are directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial MagistrateVI, East Champaran at Motihari in Mehasi P.S.
