2. The present writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent-authority to consider the previous application of the petitioner for issuance of license of fair price shop under the Public Distribution System in his favour.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had filed an application for grant of PDS licence on 31.03.2015 (Annexure-2) but the same remains pending with the SubDivisional Officer, Sadar Madhubani.

4. Learned counsel for the State appears and has been heard. The stand of the petitioner has not been controverted in the counter

In the above view of the matter, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Sub-Divisional Officer, Sadar Madhubani (Respondent no. 2) to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 31.03.2015 (Annexure-2) in accordance with law expeditiously. I.A. No. 8388 of 2015 also stands disposed of.
