JUSTICE HEMANT GUPTA ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 06-03-2017 The Writ Application filed by the petitioner was decided in terms of the Division Bench decision in LPA No 831 of 2009 on 14th February, 2012. This Court in LPA No. 831 of 2009 directed the Director General of Police to prepare a fresh merit list of the candidates who were declared eligible after the regular recruitment process.

2. In the show cause filed on behalf of the Opposite Party No. 6, it has been stated that as the petitioner did not furnish his roll number his status in the merit list could not be shown and that now all
