The present writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents for making payment of the amount of Rs. 81,867/- and Rs. 85,168/- said to be due to the petitioner for the works done under scheme no. 01 of 2010-11 and scheme no. 02 of 2010-11 for construction of road under the scheme of B.R.G.F. at village Mahsora, Gram Panchayat Bhawaria, Block Ramgarh Chowk under District Lakhisarai.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the

Patna High Court CWJC No.20204 of 2012 dt.04-10-2016 2/2 works under the two schemes in question were satisfactorily completed and were duly acknowledged by the Mukhiya concerned, but partial payment of some due amount against the petitioner has been made. It is submitted that amount of Rs. 81,867/- and Rs. 85,168/- under the two schemes respectively, remains outstanding to which the petitioner is entitled.

Having regard to the nature of the grievances and as prayed on behalf of the petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to approach the District Magistrate, Lakhisarai (respondent no. 2) with a representation for redressal of his grievances. If such a representation is filed within a period of four weeks from today, the same shall be considered and disposed of by respondent no. 2 on its own merit in accordance with law after grant of an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner expeditiously and preferably within a period of further eight weeks thereafter.
