Prayer of petitioner for bail was earlier rejected by this court vide order dated 18.02.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 69550/2019.

Vide order dated 18.08.2021, a report from the trial court about the stage of trial was called for which reveals that out of eight witnesses, five witnesses, including informant, doctor and I.O. have been examined and trial is likely to be concluded within four months.

Considering the nature of accusation, gravity of the offence and progress of the trial, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) BKS/- U T
