JUSTICE VIKASH JAIN ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 13-08-2018 The present writ petition has been filed for quashing/ setting aside the order contained in Memo No. 848 dated 20.07.2012 passed by the Sub-Divisional Officer, Muzaffarpur West whereby and whereunder he has cancelled the license No. 3/91 (Old) and 23030088/08 (new) of the petitioner; further for direction to the respondent authority, after recalling the cancellation order, for continuing the PDS shop of the petitioner; and for connected reliefs.

2. None appears on behalf of the petitioner despite repeated calls.

3. Learned counsel for the respondents raises a preliminary objection on the ground of inordinate delay and laches on the part of the petitioner in approaching this Court after more than

Patna High Court CWJC No.8568 of 2015 dt.13-08-2018 2/2 three years since passing of the impugned order, and that too, bypassing remedy by way of statutory appeal.

4. Having regard to the stand of the respondents, this Court is not inclined to interfere in the matter. The writ petition stands dismissed on the ground of delay and laches.
