For the Petitioner/s : None For the Respondent/s : Mr. Sunil Kr. Mandal Sc24 ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE KISHORE KUMAR MANDAL ORAL ORDER 07-12-2015 Considering the prayer made in this writ application, in my view, the writ application appears to have become infructuous.
The petitioner is the husband of the respondent No.2 . In a proceeding instituted by the respondent No.2/wife under Section 24 of the Hindu Marriage Act, the Court granted maintenance pendente lite at the rate of 10,000/- ( Rs. 5,000/- for herself and Rs. 5000/- for her son). A sum of Rs. 15,000/- (fifteen thousand) was also directed to be paid to her as a lump sum amount towards litigation cost. The petitioner has prayed for a direction for quick disposal of the said case. No one has appeared on behalf of the petitioner.
Patna High Court CWJC No.16095 of 2012 (2) dt.07-12-2015 2/2 This prima facie indicates that the petitioner has lost interest in pursuing the present writ petition.
The writ application is dismissed.
