The petitioner is in custody in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 8/20(b)(ii)(B) of the NDPS Act.

As per allegation in the FIR, it is a case of recovery of one country made pistol along with three live cartridges, 440 grams of contraband i.e., charas, etc. from the possession of the petitioner.

Earlier the prayer for bail of this petitioner was rejected by this Court passed in Cr. Misc. No. 56860 of 2024 vide order dated 19.08.2024 and there is no fresh ground to reconsider the prayer for bail of this petitioner.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.32991 of 2025(3) dt.20-06-2025 2/2 Accordingly, the prayer for bail of this petitioner is again rejected.

From perusal of letter no.732 by learned District & Additional Sessions Judge-Ist-cum-Additional Judge, Siwan, it appears that the trial of this petitioner is likely to be concluded within a period of nine months, so the trial Court is directed to concluded the trial within the stipulated period.
