The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "That this writ application is being filed for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus or any other writ / writs, direction / directions, order / orders for commanding the respondents, especially, the respondent No.1 to redress the grievance of the petitioner by disposing of her representation or make available the benefits to the parents on account of death of constable in harness due to Malariya."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the
Patna High Court CWJC No.6319 of 2016(2) dt.12-10-2023 2/2 petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law. Liberty, so sought, is granted.
