2. The petitioner has prayed for regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 80(2) and 3(5) of the B.N.S.
3. The case of the prosecution, in short, is that the inlaws of Pooja Devi have killed her.
4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. He has been falsely implicated in this case. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that petitioner is merely father-in-law of the deceased. It has further been submitted that the deceased was married in year 2022. It has further been submitted that from perusal of the FIR itself it not alleged that there was any dowry demand. Moreover, it has

The main thrust of the allegation is against husband of the deceased who is already in judicial custody. It has further been submitted that similarly situated mother-in-law of the deceased has already been granted bail by learned co-ordinate Bench of this court vide Cr. Misc. 90333 of 2025. The case of this petitioner stands on similar footing. He is having no criminal antecedent and he is languishing in judicial custody since 24.12.2025.
5. Learned APP appearing for the State has vehemently opposed the application for bail.
6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. ten thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned J.M. 1st Class, Bettiah, West Champaran in connection with Chanpatiya P.S. Case No. 165 of 2025.
