The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Akbarpur P.S.Case No.16 of 2019 registered for offences punishable under Sections 30(a) of the Excise Act.. Allegation as per FIR is about recovery of 30 ltrs. of liquor from the house of one Dharmendra Choudhary and the petitioner happens to be son of Dharmendra Choudhary . It further appears from the FIR that the police got information that the petitioner and his father are engaged in liquor business and on that information the police raided at their house. Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that - nothing has been recovered from his possession rather from the joint house and he has no criminal antecedent. Having heard both sides and in view of the facts and circumstances, as stated above, I am not inclined to grant privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, however, the petitioner may surrender and pray for regular bail. With the aforesaid direction, this application is dismissed.
