The petitioner is in custody since 13.03.2022 in connection with Gopalganj Excise Case No.77 of 2022 registered for offences under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018. There is recovery of 63 litres of country made liquor from a cartoon loaded on the motorcycle and not from conscious possession of the petitioner.

Considering the fact that the petitioner has clean antecedent and he is in custody since 13.03.2022, he shall be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.30804 of 2022(2) dt.20-08-2022 2/2 satisfaction of learned Additional District & Sessions Judge-IIcum-Special Excise Court-1, Gopalganj, Bihar in connection with Gopalganj Excise Case No.77 of 2022.

The petitioner will visit the office of the Inspector, Excise Prohibition, Hathua, Gopalganj on the first Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the office of the Inspector, Excise Prohibition would result in cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner.
