Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

The petitioner apprehends his arrest for the offences alleged under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code, registered in connection with Complaint Case No. 412 of 2019. It is a case of matrimonial dispute. The matter was referred to the District Mediation Centre, Kishanganj to explore

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.29136 of 2020(7) dt.18-07-2022 2/2 the possibility of amicable solution. The mediation became successful. Both the parties have compromised the case. In this respect, the report of the Mediation Centre dated 19.05.2022 is available with the record.

Considering the fact that both the parties have amicably settled their disputes and the couple are residing together and cordial relation has been restored, let the petitioner above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender within four weeks from the date of communication of this order, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kishanganj in connection with Complaint P.S.Case No. 412 of 2019, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr. P.C. Office shall ensure that all defects are removed by the petitioner within the stipulated time as provided hereinabove, failing which the matter shall be brought to the notice of this Court.
