The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Sitamarhi PS case no. 691 of 2010 instituted for the offences punishable under Sections 302, 120(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of Arms Act. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner, considering the fact that the petitioner is an accused in 17 other criminal cases and as far as the present case is concerned, he had been absconding since the year 2010 and has surrendered only on 10.09.2020, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail after lapse of one year from today.
