2. The petitioner has prayed for bail in connection with Parbatta P.S. Case No. 231 of 2024 G.R. No. 1748 of 2024 registered for the offence punishable under Section 414 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The case of the prosecution, in short, is that one Amit Kumar was apprehended with stolen bike and on being asked he disclosed that the said bike was stolen by the petitioner and given to him for keeping.

4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. He has been falsely implicated in this case. He submits that nothing has been recovered from the possession of the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.29008 of 2026(2) dt.06-05-2026 2/2 petitioner. The name of this petitioner has surfaced in the confessional statement of co-accused. No recovery has been made from the possession of the petitioner. He further submits that the petitioner is languishing in judicial custody since 21.01.2025.

5. The application for bail is opposed by learned APP for the State and submits that the petitioner has criminal antecedent of eight cases.

6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail with the condition that the petitioner shall cooperate in the trial, shall remain physically present on each and every date fixed by the learned court below, one of the bailors shall be his near relative and shall also mark his weekly attendance at Parbatta P.S. The above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. ten thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.C.J.M., 1st Class, Khagaria in connection with Parbatta P.S.
