2. The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Yogapatti P.S. Case No. 310/2024 for the offences punishable under Sections 132/3(5) of the BNS.

3. As per the prosecution case, when the smart meter Supervisor along with his team went to install smart meter into the premises of these petitioners, they were abused and obstructed by them. These petitioners also misguided and instigated the villagers with regard to the function of smart meter.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that these petitioners have falsely been implicated in this case. He

5. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the accusation that these petitioners have abused and obstructed the Government officials from discharging their official duty, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to them. It is accordingly rejected.
