The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 20 and 22 of the N.D.P.S. Act.

As per the prosecution case, 6.8 kg of ganja in a white plastic bag, 6.4 kg of ganja in an yellow plastic bag and 1.5 kg of ganja in another white plastic bag was recovered from the house of the petitioner.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case. No incriminating article has been recovered from his possession or his house. He is in custody since 10.2.2021 and has no criminal

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the facts of the case together with the petitioner having remained in custody for 1 year, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Ariyari (Kasar) P.S. Case no.17 of 2021 (N.D.P.S. Case no.1 of 2021) on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sessions Judge, Sheikhpura.
