The writ of habeas corpus has been filed seeking quashing of the order of detention of the petitioner dated 18.02.2014 passed by the District Magistrate as also the orders of approval dated 28.02.2014 and confirmation dated 16.4.2914 issued by the Government of Bihar, Home (Police) Department. It appears from the said orders that the detention of the petitioner was till 17.2.2015. The said date has already crossed and thus, the order of detention has spent its force.

In the aforesaid view of the matter, the order of
