The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 304B, 120B and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
As per the prosecution case, the daughter of the informant who was married to the son of the petitioner herein was done to death by the accused persons including the petitioner for non-fulfillment of demand of dowry. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is the father-in-law of the deceased. He has been falsely implicated in the case. The allegations are general and omnibus in nature. He is in custody since 19.1.2021 and has no criminal antecedent. Chargesheet has been submitted in the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.38851 of 2021(2) dt.12-01-2022 2/2 case.
Heard learned A.P.P. for the State.
Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the facts of the case together with the petitioner who is the father-in-law of the deceased having remained in custody for about 1 year, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Khagaria (Muffasil) P.S. Case no.315 of 2020 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Khagaria.
