In this case, the petitioner is seeking quashing of the order dated 30.07.2012 by which the District Compassionate Committee has rejected the claim of the petitioner on the ground that the elder brother of the petitioner is in government service. The ground has been taken by the petitioner that he has already separated. Even though separation is there, the family cannot be said to be in penury. The family has to be seen not the individual, when after the death of bread earner, the brother of the petitioner is in government service, it cannot be said that the family is in financial crunch.

In such view of the matter, this Court does not find any merit in the present petition. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed.
