This contempt application has been filed alleging non-compliance of the order of this Court passed in CWJC No.423 of 2015, whereby directions were issued to the District Magistrate, Patna as an appellate authority under the Public Distribution System (Control) Order to dispose of the appeal bearing E.C. Appeal No.38 of 2013.

A show cause has been filed enclosing an order dated 11.7.2015 of the Collector -cum- District Magistrate, Patna disposing of E.C. Appeal No.38 of 2013-14 and whereunder the Sub-Divisional Officer, Danapur has been directed to examine

Patna High Court MJC No.1592 of 2015 (3) dt.26-08-2015 the case of the petitioner in the light of the order passed in the police case so instituted against the petitioner. In the circumstances, this application is disposed of with a liberty to the petitioner, if so advised, to question the order passed by the District Magistrate, Patna or for any other direction in the light of the order of the District Magistrate before the appropriate forum by filing an appropriate application.
