The petitioner is in custody since 16.3.2019 in connection with Excise Case No. 17 of 2019, registered for the offence punishable under Section 30 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that in the instance case total 55.1 liters country made liquor was seized. Learned counsel for the petitioner next contended that seized liquor was not chemically examined.

Considering the fact that the petitioner has no criminal
