2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Rupau P.S. Case No. 93 of 2024 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 8, 20 and 22 of the NDPS Act.

3. As per prosecution story, 1.295 kg of ganja was recovered from the shop of this petitioner.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is seventy-six years old person and he is suffering from illness. Petitioner is in custody since 07.04.2025. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposes the bail application.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and

No.29239 of 2025(2) dt.04-07-2025 2/2 circumstances of the case and further considering the quantity recovered, petitioner's clean antecedent, his age and his period of custody, the bail application is allowed. Let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Nawada, in connection with Rupau P.S. Case No. 93 of 2024.
