24-03-2021 Heard learned counsel for the parties.

This is 2nd attempt for grant of bail on behalf of petitioner in Sessions Trial No. 137 of 2018, arising out of Halsi P.S. Case No. 47 of 2018. Earlier, vide order dated 25.09.2019 passed in Cr.Misc. No. 46712 of 2019, the prayer for bail of petitioner was rejected.

On last date i.e. on 10.02.2021, a report was called for from the Trial Court regarding stage of the trial, which has been received and kept at flag 'A'. From perusal of the same, it appears that after framing of charge on 07.02.2019, six prosecution witnesses have already been examined and the case is fixed for further evidence.

Considering the aforesaid facts & circumstances and

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.36173 of 2020(3) dt.24-03-2021 2/2 the stage of the trial, the bail application of petitioner is rejected. However, the learned Trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible.
