The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Gaighat P. S. Case No. 169 of 2020 dated 23.06.2020, instituted for the offences under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It appears that 644 litres of liquor was recovered from a newly constructed house of the petitioner in which he does not normally reside. The petitioner was arrested from another house which also

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the possibility of the liquor having been planted in the newly constructed house cannot be ruled out.

The petitioner has got clean antecedents and is in custody since 24.06.2020.

For the afore-stated facts, the petitioner, above-named, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000 /- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Jude Excise Act, Muzaffarpur, in connection with Gaighat P. S. Case No. 169 of 2020.

The petition stands allowed.
