Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P for the State.

The petitioner seeks bail in Gopalganj (Mahila) P.S. Case No. 31 of 2018, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 493, 376/34 of the Indian Penal Code and section 4/6 of the POCSO Act.

Earlier the bail application of petitioner was rejected vide order dated 19.01.2021. Vide order dated 11.08.2021, report was called for regarding the stage of trial and same has been received (kept at flag 'A'), which reveals that charge has already been framed on 18.06.2020 and out of 05 non-official witnesses, 04 witnesses have been examined and 01 has been

Considering the nature of accusation and the stage of trial, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner above-named on bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.

However, since petitioner is in custody since 02.09.2019 trial court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible.
