JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 06-12-2022 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1(i). For issuance of an appropriate writ commanding the respondents especially the respondent no. 5 to pay compensation to the petitioner as the respondents caused utmost physical suffering, mental agony which has virtually ruined the life of this petitioner and has cast a scar for whole life for his no fault.

(ii). For holding that a citizen cannot be deprived of his fundamental rights enshrined in the Constitution of India

Patna High Court CWJC No.2399 of 2015(2) dt.06-12-2022 2/2 under any circumstance and the rule of law does not run as per the dictates of police officials.

(iii). For issuance of an appropriate writ for punishing the respondents especially respondent no. 5 for misusing law as a retaliatory counter blast to perpetrate atrocities on this poor and helpless petitioner ruining his entire career."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are available under the law. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
