JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 13-07-2018 The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Sheohar P.S. Case No. 147/14, registered for offences punishable under Sections 395 and 397 of the Indian Penal Code. Allegation as per F.I.R. is that after closing the shop, the informant was going towards his home. During that period petitioner has snatched the jewelry and other ornaments and some co-accused fired at him causing injury to him. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner is not named in the F.I.R, his name has surfaced on confession of co-accused. It is further submitted that no incriminating article has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the State opposed the prayer for bail.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.31424 of 2018 (4) dt.13-07-2018 2/2 Having heard both sides, considering the facts and circumstances of the case as well as the fact that the petitioner has criminal antecedents as he is an accused in three other cases, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. this application is, accordingly, dismissed.
