Petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Hawai Adda P.S. Case No. 15 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under section 307 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the dispute is with regard to a piece of land which the informant is trying to grab by dint of his official position. Petitioner had earlier lodged a complaint in that regard, however on compromise had withdrawn the same. The wife of the informant on the alleged date of occurrence started quarreling with the petitioner. In the scuffle petitioner fell down and the informant took her golden chain by sitting on her chest and

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.32627 of 2018(3) dt.04-06-2018 2/2 molested her and torn her clothes, for which Hawai Adda P.S. Case No. 16 of 2018 was also registered. Petitioner is a lady of clean antecedent.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of arrest or surrender within a period of four weeks from today, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Patna in connection with Hawai Adda P.S. Case No. 15 of 2018 subject to the conditions laid down under section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
