====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 09-11-2020 Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the State.

The prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected vide orders dated 24.09.2018 and 31.07.2019. On the last occasion, this Court had asked for a report about the stage of the case.

The report has since been received.

The report indicates that up till now four witnesses have been examined and six more are left to be examined.

Regard being had to the nature of accusation against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.25266 of 2020(3) dt.09-11-2020 2/2 him for the present.

However, if the trial is not concluded within a period of nine months from the date of production/receipt of a copy of this order before the trial court, the petitioner would be at liberty to approach the trial court for grant of bail. In that event, the court below shall be under an obligation to record the reasons for the tardy progress of the trial.

The petition stands disposed off.
