====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 30-04-2026 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State.

2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in Shahpur Patory P. S. Case No. 74 of 2026 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c), 21(b), 22(b) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.

3. On secret information, a raid was conducted where two accused persons, namely, Rahul Kumar and Shanti Devi were apprehended along with 23.60 grams heroine who disclosed that they purchased the aforesaid heroine on the instruction of this petitioner.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that no incriminating material has been recovered from conscious possession of the petitioner. He has been made accused in this case only on suspicion. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is refused.
