The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Koilwar P.S. Case No.382 of 2020 registered for the offences under Sections 384, 385 and 379/34 of the Indian Penal Code, Mines & Minerals (Development & Regulation) Act 1957, Sections 11 and 56(1) of the Bihar Minerals Concession Prevention of Illegal Mining Transportation & Storage Rule, 2019 and Section 15 of the Environment Protection Act 1986. The allegation against the petitioners is of illegal sand mining. The evidence has come against the petitioners to connect them with the crime. They are members of the gang involved in illegal sand mining.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.39517 of 2021(2) dt.18-05-2022 2/2 Considering the above facts, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. This application for anticipatory bail is dismissed.
